Santa Cruz Poet, Charles Kruger
Charles Kruger reads "Why I do it" in San Francisco's Makeout Room on March 19, 2011. Kruger is an active member of the Santa Cruz and Bay area literary/spoken word scene. In addition to writing for examiner.com, Mr. Kruger is Board Chairman of the reading series Quiet Lightning and he writes regularly for Litseen and The Rumpus. I was strolling down Fair Avenue when some of the metal sculptures caught my eye. Though it was a Sunday, the door was open. I found the ambiance laid-back and welcoming.

Delicious Crepes
Along East Cliff, there is a Sunday farmer's market and the crepes at this cart are quite delicious. I have tasted both, the fruit crepe and the vegetable crepe.
