I am producing a new show that will showcase local musicians from a musician's perspective.  The show will be both live taped performances as well as studio performances.  Performances will be recorded on a digital multi-track and re-synced later to optimize audio quality.  It will be a tightly edited program, again, with an emphasis on a quality presentation.

Voices from the Village needs you.

We currently are looking for a CG person for Sunday May 8, 2011 for Voices from the Village live at 7 pm so you should be there at 5:30 and stay til 8:30pm. Email me if you can be there.

Thanks to those who responded to my last year's crew call. The show is based on a book, and I finally completed the book a month and a half ago.

So now I'm looking for STUDIO CREW, all positions, for a shoot either Fri 25 March (realistic) or Fri 25 Feb (statistically unlikely, but if all the ducks are lined up right, it could happen). Besides the usual, I'd especially love some help with set design.

We are always looking for new crew members for Voices From The Village.

We broadcast live each second and fourth Sunday evening at 7 pm. We do a round-table talk show with videos produced on location on the street in Santa Cruz and roll ins from other sources. The studio is set up for discussions of political and social issues with a host and usually 2 to four gursts. We ask crew to report at 5 or 6 pm depending on job function. You are welcome to come and learn more about directing, lighting, audio, set or whatever. Just come and join our friendly crew and feel the pace of doing a live show.

I'm back looking for someone to help with my tv show. I want to get it started but don't know how. Please let me know if you would like to help.

I am producing a television program on overcoming homelessness and discovering/defining the American Dream/human dream.

Here's what I need help with: I need two people (an operator and an interviewer) to interview people downtown about what their idea is about the American Dream. I need some one to record a child saying a prayer for our country. I just need the audio from this so use a good mic. That's it for now. I need this content soon because the program should be finished by July 7th. 

When we do our PSA Workshops, members have another opportunity to practice their studio skills. Once a month or so, we invite a non-profit group or representative into the studio to produce a short and simple PSA (public service announcement). It's a fun way to practice your skills!

If you are a current member and certified on any of the studio equipment--and would like to participate on a crew, please call the front desk and have them put you on the list for that month's PSA date.
