This June's episode of Community Express celebrates World Oceans Day (June 8th) by looking at two separate issues affecting California coastal waters. Hosts Deanna Zachary and Brian Petersen first discuss the diminishing salmon fisheries with local fisherman Mike Stiller and marine biologist Mike O'Farrell. Then for the second half of the program we welcome Karen Grimmer and Lisa Emanuelson from the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary to talk about local water quality issues and the how the Monterey Bay plays a very important role in this.
